Meet Emily Giffin, LPCC
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
I am a firm believer that as humans, we grow in connection. Therapy can be a place where growth, self-awareness, and healing can begin. Throughout life’s inevitable ups and downs, my mission is to come alongside you and provide a sense of acceptance, authenticity, and emotional safety. I am committed to connect with you and help you navigate life’s difficulties in a non-judgmental manner.
I have specific experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, and eating disorders/body image issues. I adopt a Health At Every Size ® perspective and utilize Intuitive Eating principles to help you foster a peaceful relationship with food and body. I believe all bodies are good bodies. My therapeutic approach is a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and person-centered therapy.

Therapy is different for everyone and I believe that it should be tailored to each individual. All are welcome in my therapy office, specifically including the LGBTQIA+ population. Regardless of your race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, and belief system – I am passionate about providing you with a safe space.

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (license number E.2203101) and received my Masters degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy my spending time with my wife and dog and exploring all that Cleveland has to offer.
